A tank with good height (minimum 18–24 inches) is recommended to support their body shape and fin development. Provide a well-planted environment with driftwood and open swimming space. They can be kept singly, in pairs, or groups (with adequate space). Feed a balanced diet including high-quality pellets, flakes, and live or frozen foods for optimal growth and coloration. Compatibility: Generally peaceful but semi-aggressive as they mature, especially during breeding.
