The Blue Oranda Goldfish (Carassius auratus) is a popular and unique freshwater fish that belongs to the family Cyprinidae. It is a selectively bred variety of the Oranda Goldfish, which is native to China. The Blue Oranda Goldfish has a round, chubby body with a prominent head growth called a wen, which makes it easily identifiable. It can grow up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length and has a lifespan of around 10-15 years. This species is peaceful and can be kept in a community tank with other non-aggressive fish.
