They thrive best in stable, clean, and well-oxygenated water.
Care & Maintenance
Galaxy Rasboras are hardy but sensitive to poor conditions:
Minimum 40–60 liters tank (larger preferred for groups)
Keep in schools of at least 8–12 fish for natural behavior
Use gentle filtration with low flow
Perform 20–25% weekly water changes
Provide heavily planted aquariums with hiding spaces and dim lighting
A mature, stable tank is essential for their long-term health.
